32nd Oxygen Express Reaches ICD, Whitefield

The 32nd Oxygen Express operated by Indian Railways to supply liquid medical oxygen to states in their fight against the global pandemic reached Inland Container Depot (ICD), Whitefield, Bengaluru at 4.06pm on June 12. This train had started from Rourkela, Odisha at 5.31am on June 11 and carried 119.06 tonnes of LMO in six cryogenic containers.

So far, Karnataka has received 3682.21 tonnes of LMO by rail. Indian Railways has so far run 409 Oxygen Expresses and transported nearly 29,185 tonnes of LMO in 1684 tankers to all over the country and brought relief to more than 30 cities and towns in 15 states in their fight against Covid -19.
